Autism Focus Group – Online Nomination Form

The Biggest Deal: The Department of Developmental Services is doing something new and exciting for self-advocates with autism! DDS is forming a focus group to help improve service experiences of children, youth, and adults on the autism spectrum. Interested in joining? Know someone who might be?
Apply online by Friday, October 21st! The group will make recommendations, review data, identify new areas of study, explore new service options, and develop ideas to reduce barriers to access.
- DDS is also accepting applications for Service Access and Equity grants. More info, as well as a recording of the bidder’s conference, is available online. Proposal deadline is October 25th.
- DDS recently updated its guidance on COVID-19 rules.
- The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will be hosting a lecture on behavioral health. 2-3:30pm (PDT), Wednesday, October 12th.
