Is your child struggling in school because of deficits in executive functioning (planning, working memory, attention, problem solving, verbal reasoning, inhibition, mental flexibility, multi-tasking, initiation, and monitoring of actions)?
Are you exhausted every night after spending hours helping your child with their homework?
Are you worried that your child may not make it through college because they can’t seem to get organized?
We have been hearing these concerns from our OCASG parents. Based on that need, OCASG is partnering with Educational Therapist, Karen Lerner, to offer an Online Executive Skills Workshop for students (ages 13-30) and their parents.
Student Sessions: (Sundays in October, 11am – 12pm)
10/2/22: Why you should care about Executive Functioning Strategies? Organization Strategies (time management, material management, prioritizing, planning)
10/9/22: Identifying what you want and then going for it. Goal-Directed Persistence and Advocacy
10/16/22: How can I get some positive control around here? Self-Regulation.
10/23/22: Mastering the process to achieve the product. Working Memory (Active reading, listening, studying, and planning)
10/30/22: Reading Comprehension and Written Expression
Students Sessions: $100 for members, $150 for non-members
