Events and Resources for the Autism Community
This Autism Event Calendar is an Orange County, California community resource that centralizes information and increases access to autism educational and family support opportunities. Because some events are posted months before they are scheduled, is important to contact sponsors to confirm that none of the information has changed.

SB 639, sponsored by SCDD in 2021 and signed into law by the Governor, initiated the phasing out of subminimum wages in California. There is a 3-year phase-out that SCDD’s four stakeholder workgroup meetings will inform.
The fourth session of the stakeholder workgroup will take place on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
We welcome the public to join the ongoing conversation about how California will shift from sheltered workshops and increase competitive integrated employment (CIE) opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
As per the previous three sessions, we will introduce the stakeholder members, examine best practices, review community member concerns and timelines, discuss expectations, and identify workgroup member information and resources.
