A Project Talent/Family-Genetic Study of Autism

Were you in high school in 1960? Do you remember taking a test for  Project Talent? If so, you can help!

We invite individuals who completed Project Talent and are related to someone with autism to participate in our research study!

Our research team at Northwestern University is studying how key developmental, behavioral, and neural features may relate to skills in autism and be heritable in families. Our goal is to inform the causes of autism, and to understand how the genes involved in autism may play a role in language and other important skills. Full participation involves 1 or 2 visits and completing tasks such as solving puzzles, completing measures of brain activity, and talking about your friendships, and the ways you relate to other people. We will travel to you or pay for your travel to us, whichever is most convenient for you! Participants are compensated for their time.
