Autism Speaks, in collaboration with John Carroll University, invites you to participate in this survey to find out what people with autism and their families/caregivers need and experience during the COVID19 virus pandemic. By filling out this survey, you can help us:
(a) to advocate with state and federal government for services and supports that are needed by people with autism to ensure a safe return to work and community living;
(b) stimulate innovation and development of newer or technology-enabled services by understanding how the pandemic disrupted autistic peoples’ lives;
(c) respond to the needs of autism community.
Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary. You must be at least 18 years old to participate in the survey. It should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your information and responses will remain confidential, and we will not be collecting any identifiable information. Only data at aggregated levels will be used for reporting. Ten percent of the first 2000 completed responses will be eligible for a $10 e-gift card. If you are interested in being eligible to receive the gift card, please do not forget to answer all required questions and provide your email address at the end of the survey. You may skip question(s) non-required questions or end the survey at any point. Note that you will not be eligible for the $10 gift card if you choose to end the survey. There are no consequences or penalties if you choose to do so.
If you have trouble understanding any of the questions, feel free to contact Arun Karpur (arun.karpur@autismspeaks.org).
