OCASG Friends and Fun Program
January 13
Hey High School Teens and Adults – Are you ready to enhance your social skills and have some fun? OCASG’s Friends and Fun Series is here to help!
Please Note: We will be officially closing registration on 1/13/24.
Social Discussions are led by the amazing Dr. Ali Arena. Our monthly Social Skills Discussions will teach you new techniques for improving your social life.
Social Activities are led by OCASG Social Coordinator Erin Alonso and provide an opportunity to practice what you learn and have a blast while doing it!
The Buddies Program matches compatible participants and is designed to help build lasting friendships. And did we mention prizes will be awarded based on participation?
Q1 2024 Schedule
Adult Schedule
Online Social Skills Discussions: 1/17, 2/21, 3/20 from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Social Activities: 1/13 (Scavenger Hunt), 2/17 (Game Night), 3/16 (Bowling)
Teen Schedule
Online Social Skills Discussions: 1/10, 2/7, 3/13 from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Social Activities: 1/20 (Scavenger Hunt), 2/24 (Game Night), 3/23 (Bowling)
FEES AND MORE
The program is for adults and high school teens with high-functioning Autism, Asperger’s, or PDD-NOS. The fee is $80 per quarter for dues-paying OCASG members and $100 for non-members. The fees cover the costs associated with attending the monthly activities. Note that a full scholarship is available for qualifying Irvine Residents paid through the Irvine Recovery Program Grant awarded to The Orange County Asperger’s Support Group.
