The Family Autism Network is a program sponsored by the Grandparent Autism Network. It was established to provide additional information and resources to the autism community. Our successful programs and projects are shared on the websites to provide additional resources for other communities world-wide.
FAN presents cost-free social events for adults (ages 16+) and their caregivers, in collaboration with students and faculty members from local universities and community volunteers. The last social event hosted 350 guests on the California State University-Fullerton campus. In addition to providing an entertaining and fun afternoon, the socials help to develop social networks for our guests and increase advocacy and support for the autism community. While the volunteers host the guests with autism, caregivers enjoy respite time and have access to experts for information and resources.
This Family Autism Network website and all cost-free events are sponsored by the Grandparent Autism Network, a nonprofit organization.
