Support for Sibling Caregivers/Care Managers

Sibs, the Holiday season has officially kicked off and we want to support you with all that comes with it!
Join us for a virtual Meet Up this Thursday, 11/16 @ 6pm PT
to focus on building resiliency amid the busyness of being a caregiver or care manager within your family.
We’ll be joined by guest speaker Janet Fitch who will share the HeartMath model, and lead us through some exercises to tune in with ourselves. We’ll also have plenty of time for discussion about what self care looks like for you, and to share ideas with your fellow Sibs.
HeartMath is a way to tune into your heart’s wisdom to approach situations with more emotional balance, compassion, clarity and personal confidence. For more than 30 years, HeartMath Institute has been researching the heart-brain connection and learning how the heart influences our perceptions, emotions, intuition and health. *Sib meetups are exclusively for the adult siblings of persons with additional needs. While we focus on the siblings of people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, those self-identifying as a Sib (sibs-in-law, or those related to someone with a different type of disability) are welcome. We create a safe space to discuss the joys and challenges of our families.
