Autism Health Insurance Project, Inc
Autism Health Insurance Project, Inc., is a California 501 (c3) Public Benefit Corporation that is advocating and working with families, providers, therapists, ABA agencies, regional centers and other autism organizations. It is committed to helping families secure health insurance and other coverage for autism related interventions.
Workshops, consultation and advice is available for families and providers to help them obtain insurance coverage.
Adult Aspie Social Group of Orange
Group meets every 2nd Friday of the month from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m.
This group of young adults with Asperger’s Syndrome and parents usually meets at 6:30 p.m. on the second Friday of the month. Parents meet separately and the groups have different facilitators.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Santa Ana, CA
Conducts free educational programs, meetings and support groups addressing every aspect of mental health.
Also provides The WarmLine – a confidential, 7-day a wee telephone support service for anyone who has concerns about mental health, substance abuse, is lonely or confused, or needs information about mental health services. Groups meet weekly throughout Orange County.

IntraAgency Assessment Center – for early education programs
he Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) Division of Special Education Services is a referral-based program serving students from the 27 Orange County school districts and surrounding areas with in-person and remote learning opportunities. Referrals are made solely by a student’s district of residence when a more intensive educational setting is needed.
Early childhood publications from the California Department of Education
While the California Department of Education continues to operate the California State Preschool Program, the Early Childhood Development Act of 2020 (Senate Bill (SV) 98, Chapter 24, Statutes of 2020) authorized the transfer of many childcare programs from the California Department of Education to the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) effective July 1, 2021.
