Autistic Self Advocacy Network
The Autistic Self Advocacy Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run by and for Autistic people. ASAN’s supporters include Autistic adults and youth, cross-disability advocates, and non-autistic family members, professionals, educators and friends. ASAN was created to provide support and services to individuals on the autism spectrum while working to educate communities and improve public perceptions of autism. Our activities include public policy advocacy, community engagement to encourage inclusion and respect for neurodiversity, quality of life oriented research, and the development of Autistic cultural activities. We provide information about autism to the public through a number of different educational, outreach and systems change related projects.

Freedom Concepts USA, LLC
Freedom Concepts works with medical professionals, physical/occupational therapist and families, Freedom Concepts custom-builds each device for individuals with disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Muscular Dystrophy, Angelman Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, and visually impaired.
Bridging Apps
This website provides a roadmap for people with disabilities who have no experience using mobile devices or apps (discovery) and helps them through developmental stages to use assistive technology proficiently.
Autism Apps
Autism Speaks’ has interactive Autism Apps search engine that allows our community to easily access and rate apps and share your experiences. It enables you to search for an app, read supporting evidence behind its claimed uses and benefits. You can comment, rate or add new apps you recommend.
Assistive Technology in Action – Video
The Family Center on Technology and Disability and PACER Center are pleased to announce the release of their new assistive technology awareness series, AT in Action. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs, this fully captioned video series is designed to strengthen awareness of AT devices that help individuals with disabilities participate fully in school, at home and in the community. In this first video, you’ll meet Sam Graves, a young man with cerebral palsy who, with the help of AT, is a successfuly college student, blogger and sportsman.
