The need for social skills is through life. Having the ability to develop friendships, socialize at school and in the community is an important part of building self-esteem and becoming more independent.
BASIC social skills groups program offers support and empowers students to become comfortable in social situations through proven methods across different community and school settings. We break down the social concepts into concrete ideas that are students can understand and relate to, we continue the lesson into the community taking opportunities to socialize with typical developing peers as well as build friendships with other students in social skills in a safe and fun environment!
