BASIC Social Skills
The ability to navigate relationships and emotions is critical component to social success. Social situations are often awkward for individuals with autism, especially during adolescents, which can be a difficult time for anyone.
The need for social skills is through life. Having the ability to develop friendships, socialize at school and in the community is an important part of building self-esteem and becoming more independent.
BASIC social skills groups program offers support and empowers students to become comfortable in social situations through proven methods across different community and school settings. We break down the social concepts into concrete ideas that are students can understand and relate to, we continue the lesson into the community taking opportunities to socialize with typical developing peers as well as build friendships with other students in social skills in a safe and fun environment!

Treatment for Autism Study
Our first study using sensory stimulation for ASD children was quite successful. About a third had their symptoms fully resolved, a third were very much improved and a third did not respond. On average, there was a 10-point improvement in IQ scores. We are now running our second study for children 3-6 years old.
